Gina Pina is a quilter, seamstress, designer and cat appreciator living in east Austin. Primarily operating online, Gina was a mainstay of the UT Renaissance Market, and has also been spotted at Trail of Lights and First Thursday celebrations. When Gina is not knee deep in fabric she can be found tinkering with one of the many vintage sewing machines that seem to follow her home.

Recently Gina has primarily focused on highly functional bags suiting a variety of needs and lifestyles; crafting everything from wallets and laptop sleeves to giant duffel and diaper bags. This far into her journey no fabric mountain has been too high to sew over nor fabric scrap too small to discard. Somehow she brings it all together as one of a kind artful fabric creations that not only serve a purpose, but are eye catching and mood elevating.

In addition to high quality sturdy workmanship and strict attention to detail, all of Gina Pina’s merchandise sets itself apart from mass produced goods thanks to her impeccable taste in fabrics. Gina curates a personal library of fabrics from unique designers such as Amy Butler, Echino, Jay McCarroll and Tula Pink, and is on a never ending quest for the newest freshest choice on the market.

This love of fabric & design ensures that in addition to the hours of labor put into every cut & stitch of Gina Pina merchandise, there are countless additional hours put into the research, acquisition and manipulation of beautiful and sometimes rare fabrics. Gina is proud to offer an affordable option for people who want beautiful locally produced products that last years.
