This place is between Mopac and 71, just far enough away from the main road that the sound of cars is drowned out by water. Within Austin city limits, but you wouldn’t know that if somehow you were dropped out there without knowing where you were. The sun is actually setting behind me in this shot. All of the hills and rock walls and rushing water makes a nice escape. I hope to spend much more time exploring the greenbelt this year.
